I started EMDR services with Yvett in Oct 2021. It was the Start of my clinical internship in mental health counseling. She supported me as my past began to surface. I saw her weekly until May 2022 and reprocessed a deep timeline of maladaptive memories. June 2023 was ready to discharge and begin the next steps of my journey. She supported me in the reconciliation and reconnection back to myself. Working with Yvett supported me in a deep soul retrieval. A powerful experience of integration back to wholeness. At the beginning of my therapy sessions, I experienced a lot of anxiety and nervousness when talking to my therapist. I had encountered negative associations with previous therapists who seemed cold and distant, lacking the connection I needed. However, my experience with Yvett over the span of 2 years was completely different.
